Mission
To empower METU students by developing solutions for every aspect of campus life — academics, dining, navigation, communication, and services — into a single, student-built platform that makes the every-day campus life easier.
Vision
To make campus life so seamless that students can focus on what truly matters — learning, growing, and thriving. We aim to set the standard for what a student-driven university app can be.
Guiding Principle
Everything we build must directly benefit the student. Every feature, every decision, every line of code should empower students and make their campus life better. If it doesn't serve the student, it doesn't belong in the app.
Open Ecosystem
We see the METU campus as a shared ecosystem, not a territory. We openly support other student groups and organizations with data, resources, and collaboration. METU App is not here to monopolize — we encourage and champion similar student-driven tools as a vital part of campus life and student solidarity.
Purposeful Minimalism
Just because we can build something doesn't mean we should. Every feature must earn its place by delivering real value to students. We choose quality over quantity — METU App stays focused, intentional, and free of clutter.
University Collaboration
We are in collaboration with our university. University provides the infrastructure and support we need; we provide tools that empower the campus ecosystem. However, METU App belongs to METU students, and will always remain student-oriented.
